This book describes in simple terms how to sing harmonies in bluegrass music. It discusses the terminology and concepts involved, and offers simple exercises to help you learn how to apply the concepts.

 

The included CD provides audio demonstrations of the concepts discussed in the text. It also provides the opportunity to sing along and practice different harmony parts. By adjusting the balance control on your CD player, you can remove one of the harmony parts from the audio -- and then you sing that harmony, with Megan and Mike taking the other parts!

The book is co-authored by two experienced instructors and vocal arrangers: multi-instrumentalist Topher Gayle, and vocalist and National Fiddle Champion Megan B. Lynch.
